Community Foundation Offers Nonprofit Series The Pulaski County Community Foundation will host an informative workshop series for nonprofit boards, staff and volunteers. Five workshops will be presented to help nonprofit organizations with areas of fundraising, volunteerism, strategic planning and fiscal responsibility. All workshops will run from 9 am. to 11 a.m. at the Edward Jones Office, 577 N. US 35, Winamac. Registration, breakfast, and networking begin at 8 a.m. Cost is $60 for the entire series, or $15 for each individual session. In general, community foundations are... Designed to build, over time, endowment funds for the community through gifts large and small. Non-profit organizations with a difference -- tax-deductible gifts are through the Foundation to any eligible cause, organization, or program you choose. For people who share a common interest -- to improve the quality of life in Pulaski County. Supporting new or existing programs of other non-profit organizations and agencies rather than conducting programs of its own.
