Your Community Foundation The Pulaski County Community Foundation:
- is a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code
serves the philanthropic goals of donors who wish to better their community by providing them with flexible, efficient, and tax-effective ways to achieve the greatest possible impact is governed by a local board of directors chosen for their knowledge of the community and designed to represent a broad cross-section of its citizens generally supports new or existing programs of other non-profit organizations and agencies
What has PCCF done so far?
- 501(c)(3) tax umbrella has offered administrative and tax assistance for new organizations
- Awarded $85,000 in unrestricted grants to local nonprofits since 2002
- Distributed nearly $702,000 in annual grant payouts from endowed funds for charitable community purposes
- Awarded 23 local high school graduates with full-tuition college scholarships
- Over $681,900 in scholarship awards have been made possible through scholarships administered by PCCF
A total of $1.48 million have been received through Lilly Endowment matching gift phases from 1998-2002 Grants totaling $2,070,276 have been provided for the development of individual communities Received a $4.9 million grant offering educational programs for parents, teachers, children, and students
