PCCF welcomes grant requests from any nonprofit organization in Pulaski County.  The Foundation also invites applications to help fund new organizations who seek to meet demonstrated needs or to benefit the community through creative and innovative projects and programs.  Grants are made only to organizations that serve the Pulaski County area.

The Foundation will generally favor grant requests which:

• impact a substantial number of people in our community
• propose practical solutions to current problems or address a current community interest
• examine and address underlying causes of local needs
• encourage cooperation and elimination of duplicate services
• build the capacity of the applying organization
• are from established agencies tax exempt under Section 501 (c)(3) of the IRS Code

Because of limited resources, PCCF must limit the scope of activities the Foundation can support.

As a general rule, the Foundation does not make grants from its discretionary funds for the following:

• ongoing operating expenses or annual fundraising drives
• existing obligations, debt reduction or building campaigns
• individuals or travel expenses
• loans or endowments
• political purposes

This will allow the applicant to obtain an application and be informed regarding the deadline for submitting proposals.
