The Pulaski County Community Foundation is made up of many different types of funds.  The majority of these do not accept unsolicited funding requests from nonprofit agencies or organizations.  However, PCCF's General Unrestricted Fund does provide funding for community grants through a formal grant process.

A Church Endowment Buildng Program was offered during the spring of 2007. Six Pulaski County churches took advantage of the program, which offered matching dollars for churches to establish their own endowments or add to existing endowments. To participate, a church needed to contribute $2500 -- half the amount required to establish a permanent fund. Participating churches were: First United Methodist Church, Winamac; Fellowship Baptist Church, Winamac; First Christian Church, Winamac; Star City United Methodist Church; St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Denham; and St. James Salem United Church of Christ, Francesville.

A total of $16,000 was awarded during the fall grant cycle to seven nonprofits, benefiting all corners of the county.

Over $31,000 in unrestricted dollars was granted to deserving Pulaski County causes in 2007!
